EBSCO subscriptions (2006)

THIC members Baptist College of Health Sciences, Baptist Hospital Memphis, Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Methodist Healthcare, University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Veteran’s Administration Medical Center investigated the possibility of purchasing shared subscriptions to 47 electronic journals through EBSCO. The project was abandoned as it proved too time-consuming, EBSCO was able to get feedback from only a limited number of publishers, and the shared subscriptions would not have resulted in significant savings for member libraries.
